Filmoir
PrivacyPolicy
Your photos stay on your device. We never upload them, never scan your face, never sell your data. We only collect what an ad-supported app needs to run.

— 01 —What this is

Filmoir is a filter camera app for Android. This document describes what data we handle and what we don't. Effective 2026-05-18.

— 02 —What stays on your device

Filmoir is built so the things that matter most never leave your phone:

— 03 —What we do collect

Only the minimum needed to run an ad-supported, free app:

Advertising ID
Your Google Advertising ID (AAID), so ad networks can show and measure ads. You can reset or delete it any time in Android Settings.
App-instance ID
A random ID attached to this installation, used for crash reports and feature usage stats. Reset when you reinstall or clear app data.
Usage events
Anonymous events like "filter applied", "export tapped", session length. No image content, no file names, no location.
Crash reports
When the app crashes: the stack trace, your device model, and OS version. So we can fix bugs.

Everything we collect is sent over HTTPS.

— 04 —Who we share with

We use a small set of Google services to run the app:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not let these services use your data for anything beyond the service they provide to us.

— 05 —Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data tied to your installation. We will respond within 30 days.

You can withdraw consent for personalised ads at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences inside the app, or by resetting your Advertising ID in Android Settings.

If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you also have the additional rights granted by GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA / CPRA — including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

— 06 —Children

Filmoir is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you're a parent and believe your child has used the app, email us and we'll delete what we have.

— 07 —Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll show a notice inside the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. The date at the top will always be the latest.
